Some of the kitesurfing and windsurfing community, along with family and friends gathered at Britannia to pay tribute and share stories about Andrej and his kitesurfing and windsurfing accomplishments. A kitesurfing poem that was written for Andrej was read, a toast was made in his honour and some of his ashes were scattered in the bay.
